People are drawn to yoga & Pilates for all sorts of reasons and I take a spontaneous approach to teaching in order to encourage each individual to develop their own understanding of what we do and what works for them.
We spend time on our mats but also on our feet and sometimes use equipment to support, challenge and enhance our practice.
Students are encouraged to develop self-awareness as a tool to enable lasting, personal progress
I became a yoga teacher at the suggestion of my own instructor and trained with Ruth White and Sam Rao to gain my 500hr qualification with Yoga Alliance.
I subsequently trained to become a Pilates teacher and hold a level 3 mat diploma with CYQ
The learning never ends and the regular training sessions that I attend inpsire an evolving process of sharing with my own students, the latest knowledge and developments in bio-mechanics, neurology and other relevant disciplines from some of the best & most widely respected professionals in the field.
